Although, Studdard had taken a nine-year break from music at some point, but returned in 2023 with the new single “The Way I Remember It”.
In 2013, Studdard took part in The Biggest Loser’s fifteenth season, where he achieved significant weight loss.
In addition, he is actively involved in philanthropy, using his platform to support various charitable causes.

Following his win on American idol, Studdard signed a recording contract with J Records and released his debut album, “Soulful,” in 2003, which debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart and sold over 1.8 million copies in the United States.
Studdard went on to release a second studio album, “I Need an Angel,” in 2004, which ranked number one on the Billboard Gospel Albums chart and received a Grammy Award nomination for Best Gospel Album.
Other albums Studdard released include “The Return” (2006), “Love Is” (2009), “Letters from Birmingham” (2012), and “Unconditional Love” (2014).
Some of his hit singles include “Flying Without Wings”, “Sorry”, “What If”, “Celebrate Me Home”, “Love, Love, Love”, “Change Me”, and “The Way I Remember It” (2023).
In addition to music, Studdard has been on various TV shows such as the reality weight-loss competition “The Biggest Loser”, “8 Simple Rules” and “Life on a Stick.”
