Regarding Tshiebwe’s injury, which he tweeted about, Calipari provided scant details.
In the first of two tweets, Calipari stated, “I have good news and bad news.” The scouts were really impressed with Oscar’s performance during Pro Day, which is good news.
He returned to improve his skills and become a more all-around player, and Saturday night was the perfect example of that. They cherished it.”

“Unfortunately, I kept him from practice on Saturday due to knee issues. He balled out and wouldn’t miss Pro Day. As a precaution, I made him miss Mon. and get checked out. He will have a quick 15-minute surgery to tidy up certain items. Not a big thing, but no dancing at Madness!”
