What happened to Nickeil Alexander-Walker?

In Toronto, Ontario, on September 2, 1998, Nickeil Alexander-Walker was born. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, the Oklahoma City Thunder’s standout guard, is linked to Alexander Walker.

Alexander-Walker played for Vaughan Secondary School while still a child growing up in Canada. He was an exceptional prospect who raised the Hokies’ overall NCAA standings.

In 2019, the Brooklyn Nets selected Alexander-Walker, and the New Orleans Pelicans acquired his draft rights in exchange. His ascent to stardom in the National Basketball Association was well underway.

Alexander-Walker played for the Pelicans for three years before being caught up in another trade cycle. Through a three-team deal, he was sent to Utah in 2022 to play for the Jazz. The Minnesota Timberwolves currently have Alexander-Walker on staff.
