What happened to Keith Nale?

Keith Nale, a renowned “Survivor” player who played on seasons 29 and 31 of CBS’s hit reality show, has passed away.

He was 62. Wes Nale, his son and fellow “Survivor” player, confirmed his death in a message to ET Online. Wes informed the publication on Tuesday, “He passed away this afternoon.”

Following a battle with cancer, Keith Nale, a cherished fan favorite who played on two seasons of “Survivor,” has passed away at the age of 62.

Wes, Nale’s son, told ET Online that his father had died this afternoon. We learned about his cancer in January after he had been battling it for a few months.

It’s unclear what type of cancer he had, his wife, Dana, told TMZ.

Keith was one of the castaways in “Survivor: San Juan del Sur — Blood vs. Water,” which was filmed in Nicaragua in the summer of 2014 and premiered on CBS on Sept. 24 of that year.
