CFO of Tyson Foods, John Tyson was arrested on Sunday [November 6, 2022] after he allegedly got intoxicated and ended up falling asleep in someone else’s home. He has been charged with public intoxication and trespassing and put in Washington County jail.

At around 2 a.m, a woman who had no idea who Tyson was found him asleep in her bed and called the police. The authorities shared that there was a smell of alcohol on his breath and was unable to speak to the police properly. However, the woman added that Tyson only got to enter the house because the door was unlocked.

A representative of Tyson Foods has shared that they will not be giving any further information about the issue because it was a “personal matter.”
Tyson was named the company’s Chief Financial Officer in September 2022 when Stewart Glendinning was tapped to lead the company’s prepared foods division. However, he used to work as an investment banker in a private equity and venture capital.
