Jess McMahon and his brothers were partners  Olympic Athletic Club and bookers at the Empire and St. Nichols Athletic Clubs. The McMahon brothers also worked at the Commonwealth Casino where they primarily promoted mixed-race boxing. The brothers also owned the Commonwealth Big 5, a professional basketball team.

Jess McMahon is still acknowledged for his contribution to the growth of the wrestling sport in Northeastern America. Jess’ manner of organizing matches at the garden was one of the pivotal steps he took in the promotion of boxing and wrestling.

How Did Jess McMahon Die? Jess suffered from a cerebral hemorrhage, abrupt and unexplained bleeding in the brain tissues.

Jess McMahon was announced dead on the 22nd of November 1954 at a hospital in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. Jess was aged seventy-two years old when he passed on.
