Jaire Alexander plays cornerback for the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League (NFL).

Jaire Alexander injured his shoulder on a tackle made in a week four win against the Steelers on October 9, 2021.

The Packers’ medical staff decided against a season-ending surgery to repair the sprain, and after two months on the IR list, Alexander was designated to return to practice on December 8, 2021.

Alexander attended Louisville from 2015 to 2017 and played for head coach Bobby Petrino.
He had 77 tackles and seven interceptions in his career.

Alexander was selected by the Green Bay Pac,kers in the first round (18th overall) of the 2018 NFL Draft.

According to Pro Football Focus, he finished the 2020 season as the NFL’s No. 1 cornerback. Alexander became the only cornerback since 2006 to allow negative yards in a playoff game (three yards) in the Division Playoffs against the Los Angeles Rams.
