Frank O’Hara was born to Katherine O’Hara and Russell Joseph O’Hara in Baltimore, Maryland, on March 27, 1926, and died in Mastic Beach, New York, on July 25, 1966, at the age of 40 years.

The death of Frank O’Hara was a very sad one as it happened as a result of a vehicle accident.

Frank O’Hara was hit by a dune buggy at a beachside at Fire Island, New York and he was confirmed dead after being rushed to the nearby health centre.

Frank O’Hara’s funeral was held a few weeks later and he was buried at the Green River Cemetery in Springs, New York.
