Who Is Fetty wap?

Fetty Wap is a rapper, singer cum songwriter known for his 2015 self-titled debut album, “Fetty Wap,” and the hit singles “679” and “My Way.”

Born on June 7, 1991, as Willie Junior Maxwell II, Wap began to make a name in music in 2014, following the release of his debut single “Trap Queen,” which ranked number two on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

His songs come with a blend of hip hop, trap, and R&B elements, and delivered in a distinctive vocal style.

Wap’s hit songs “Again” and “679” have also ranked number four on the Billboard Hot 100.

Having collaborated with artists like Monty and Remy Boyz, Wap released mixtapes and his sophomore album, “King Zoo” in 2021.

Outside of music, Wap has been faced with many legal issues and label disputes.

In 2022, he had pleaded guilty to some drug charges which he was arrested for the previous year. In 2023, Wap was sentenced to six years in prison.
