Pitcher for the Major League Baseball (MLB) Pittsburgh Pirates, Felipe Vazquez is from Venezuela. He was created in San Felipe, Yaracuy, Venezuela on July 5, 1991. Felipe once represented the Washington Nationals. In addition, he received “All-Star” recognition in both 2018 and 2019.

On July 20, 2008, Felipe agreed to a contract with the Tampa Bay Rays as an international free agent. 2012 saw him join the Rays’ roster after participating in the “All-Star Futures Game.”

The Washington Nationals traded Felipe in 2014. Due to elbow discomfort, Felipe was only able to start 14 games. He was subsequently transferred by the Nationals to the Mesa Solar Sox of the Arizona Fall League. He eventually managed to make the switch to reliever in 2015.

After a jury found Vazquez guilty of several charges in 2021, including sexual abuse of children, unauthorized contact with a minor, statutory sexual assault, and indecent assault of a person under the age of 16, he was sentenced to 2 to 4 years in prison followed by 2 years of probation. In September 2019, he was detained on suspicion of having sex with a Scottdale girl since she was barely 13 years old.
