Earlier in January 2023, the Tottenham M.D was was banned for 30 months, following some financial irregularities, and after it was discovered that he was linked with Spurs.
Paratici was “banned from carrying out activities within the Italian Football Federation”, but the ban has now been extended worldwide.
This suggests that Paratici will be forfeiting his role at Tottenham.
“FIFA have confirmed that – following a request by the Italian FA (FIGC) – the Chairperson of FIFA Disciplinary Committee has decided to extend the sanctions imposed by FIGC on several football officials to have worldwide effect”, a statement read.
Paratici henceforth, “cannot conduct any transfer market activity directly, neither talk to agents nor negotiate deals.”
