Who Was Eddie Guerrero?
Eduardo Guerrero fought under several wrestling promotions in Mexico, Japan, and United States, including Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW), World Championship Wrestling (WCW), and World Wrestling Federation / Entertainment (WWF/WWE).
The late Texas native came from a family of wrestlers.
His father, Gory Guerrero, was “a first-generation wrestler and one of the greatest and most influential wrestlers of all time.”

As of 2004, ranked amongst the top wrestlers on the SmackDown brand. He had also won the WWF European Championship and WWF Intercontinental Championship before he rehired.
Guerrero passed away on November 13, 2005, after suffering from an acute heart failure.
He was aged 38.
Outside the ring, Guerrero battled substance abuse problems, including alcoholism.
Guerrero has been “posthumously inducted into the WWE, AAA, Wrestling Observer Newsletter and Hardcore halls of fame.”
