What happened to CZN Burak?

“Pray For Burak” messages started circulating on social media in May 2022, after Burak posted a photo of himself on a hospital bed, looking pale, on Instagram, claiming that he had gone for a simple checkup.

CZN Burak’s illness has not yet been disclosed and there is no clear information on why he was in the hospital.

CZN Burak is the owner of Hatay Medeniyetler Sofras, a restaurant franchise. By posting his culinary shows on social media platforms, he became known as “Smiley bae” and an internet celebrity, where he prepared dishes from Arabian and Anatolian cuisine while smiling at the camera.

In 2009, he launched Hatay Medeniyetler Lokantas, a kebab shop in Aksaray, with the help of his father, who owns a textile company. Within a few years, they had built a restaurant network with multiple locations. Burak is well-known for his social media culinary videos.
