Rapper Christopher Reid had been arrested for refusing to attend court sessions after he was arrested sometime in 2010 over DUI allegations.

Reid who forms part of the 1980s American hip-hop duo Kid ‘n Play, had a warrant out for his arrest.

Christopher Reid (“Kid”) and Christopher Martin (“Play”) formed the two-man team and worked with their DJ, Mark “DJ Wiz” Eastmond.

Reid was born in The Bronx, New York. His father was Jamaican and his mother was Irish.

Reid attended the Bronx High School of Science and the Lehman College.

Aside from music, Reid was on screen for a number of television programs, such as Martin and Sister.

He also hosted competition shows, such as Your Big Break and It’s Showtime at the Apollo.

Reid is the brain behind the theme song of HBO’s Real Time with Bill Maher, and graced the 2008 magician game show Celebracadabra.

Some of the movies he stared in include The Asylum’s film War of the Worlds 2: The Next Wave,  Supah Ninjas, and “Sorry for Party Rocking”.

In 2012, he did a voice over for the military shooter video game Spec Ops: The Line, in which he also played the role of Lt. Alphanso Adams.
