Cade Johnson signed with the Seattle Seahawks as an undrafted free agent on May 14, 2021.

On August 30, 2022, Cade Johnson was waived by the Seahawks. He signed to the practice squad the next day.

Cade Johnson was born on April 10, 1998, in Papillion, Nebraska, United States of America. Johnson was brought up in Papillion, Nebraska where he attended Bellevue West High School.

Cade Johnson played college football at South Dakota State. At South Dakota, Johnson redshirted his true freshman season after joining the team as a walk-on.

As a redshirt freshman at South Dakota, Cade Johnson caught 23 passes for 318 yards and three touchdowns. As a redshirt junior, Johnson was named first-team All-MVFC.

Cade Johnson finished his redshirt junior season with 72 catches for 1,222 yards and eight touchdowns. Johnson is a wide receiver for the Seattle Seahawks of the National Football League.
