Canadian golfer, Brooke Henderson pulled out of the Scottish Championship due to an undisclosed illness.

Brooke recorded a 2-ovee 74 during the opening round of the Championship. She is the fifth player to withdraw from the Championship since inception.

Brooke is a Canadian golfer who plays on the LPGA Tour

Born on September 10, 1997, in Canada, Brooke grew up in Smiths Falls, Ontario.

She began playing golf from a very young age at the Smiths Falls Golf and Country Club.

Brooke finished her degree from Smiths Falls District Collegiate Institute in 2014, after she won the Canadian Women’s Amateur in 2013.

The same year she graduated, she was runner-up at the 2014 U.S. Women’s Amateur and went ahead to win three events on the CN Canadian Women’s Tour, finishing10th place.

Brooke turned pro in 2014 and since then has been winning tournaments.

She won the Canadian Press female athlete of the year in 2015, 2017 and 2018.

She has 12 LPGA wins under her belt and is the only Canadian professional golfer with the most wins.

At the 2022 Evian Championship, Brooke won her second major title.
