Billy Strings, the talented bluegrass musician, has torn earlobes due to his previous use of gauges. Gauges are a type of body modification that stretch the earlobes to create large holes.

Billy Strings used to wear them when he was younger, but he stopped and removed them. However, the holes did not heal completely, leaving his earlobes with visible tears.
