He announced that he would be going to Australia for its 2022 season as the show began.
“Okay, breaking news is, I am going to go to Australia to cover the campmates – that’s the breaking news. So I will be there for the final week,” he said.

“At the moment, ITV have put them in isolation on top of the rules of Australia, to make sure they are COVID safe. I think this is the bit he’s going to struggle with, just being by himself for 10 days, because he loves to chat,” Peters said when asked how he feels as his friend, Chris Moyales, joins the competition.
“I’m so excited to watch him in this programme,” he shared.
