Adem Bona whose real name is Ikechukwu Stanley Okoro is a Turkish-Nigerian college basketball player who plays as a power forward for the UCLA Bruins of the Pac-12 Conference.
Born on March 28, 2003, in Lagos, Nigeria, Bona played high school basketball at Prolific Prep in Napa, California, where he was a McDonald’s All-American.

Bona played for Pınar Karşıyaka in 2019, and participated in the FIBA Europe Cup and the Basketball Super League (BSL).
Also in 2019, he represented Turkey in the FIBA U16 European Championship in Udine, and averaged 14.1 points, 10.3 rebounds and four blocks per game, and ranked second overall at the tournament in rebounds and blocks.
Bona further committed to play college basketball for UCLA. As a consensus five-star recruit, he was named to the Pac-12 All-Defensive Team and won the Pac-12 Freshman of the Year in 2023.
With the UCLA Bruins, Bona had averaged 7.7 points and 5.3 rebounds, leading his team with 57 blocks.
Bona also declared for the 2023 NBA draft, but with the intention of retaining his college eligibility.
