Carson Soucy is a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman who currently plays for the National Hockey League’s Seattle Kraken.

In the 2013 NHL Entry Draft, he was selected 137th overall by the Minnesota Wild.
Soucy was born on July 27, 1994, in Viking, Alberta, to his mother Debbie. Soucy was raised in the Alberta town of Irma.
Mike Soucy, his father, previously played softball.
Tyson, Soucy’s older brother, was also an ice hockey player, most recently with the Elk Point Elks of the SaskAlta Senior Hockey League.

What happened Carson Soucy?
Seattle Kraken defenseman Carson Soucy was fined $2,500 by the NHL for a roughing penalty against forward Pierre-Luc Dubois in the closing minute of regulation of Sunday night’s 3-2 overtime loss to the Winnipeg Jets. Soucy was jostling with Dubois for much of the final minute.
“There are little suburbs like Bellevue, which is kind of the Edina spot, and then you have the single guys living downtown,” Soucy said. Soucy recently married his girlfriend, Shyla.
