According to Captain Cameron Henderson of the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office, police responded to a trespassing incident shortly after 2 p.m. on Thursday. He said that the pop singer’s first husband, Jason Alexander, was arrested at the wedding location.
Officers detained Alexander after discovering he had a warrant out of another county, according to Henderson. Alexander had earlier posted a live video from his Instagram account when he approached event security.

He told them repeatedly as he walked about what seemed to be a mostly vacant but adorned mansion and gardens that Spears had invited him. “She’s my first and only wife,” Alexander stated, referring to his 2004 marriage to Spears.
Despite the drama, Spears’ wedding to long-term partner Sam Asghari went off without a hitch, with celebrities such as Madonna, Paris Hilton, and Donatella Versace in attendance at Britney’s 12,464-square-foot, five-bedroom, eight-bath Italian house.
According to reports, deputies are still examining what happened and will decide whether or not to charge Alexander with trespassing.
