Harley Edward Streten, known professionally as Flume, is an Australian Grammy award-winning and platinum-selling musician, DJ, and music producer widely considered a pioneer of future bass who helped popularise the genre.

The future bass is a genre that blends electronic, experimental, and hip-hop elements. Flume has helped popularize this genre, bringing it into the mainstream. His self-titled debut studio album, released in 2012, received positive reviews, topped the ARIA Albums Chart, and achieved double-platinum accreditation in Australia.

Flume has also remixed songs from artists such as Lorde, Sam Smith, Arcade Fire, Hermitude, and Disclosure. His second studio album, “Skin”, released in 2016, again topped the ARIA Albums Chart and won the Best Dance/Electronic Album at the 2017 Grammy Awards.
Flume has won triple j’s annual Hottest 100 twice—first in 2016 and most recently in 2023 with the track “Say Nothing”. Flume has remixed songs from such artists as Lorde, Sam Smith, Arcade Fire, Hermitude, and Disclosure.
In February 2013, Flume announced his first national headlining Australian tour, entitled the “Infinity Prism Tour”. In March 2013, Flume was named one of Fuse TV’s 30 “Must-See Acts” at the SXSW festival.
