Shannyn Sossamon is an actress and singer known for playing Jocelyn in the 2001 film “A Knight’s Tale”.

Born on October 3, 1978, in Honolulu, Hawaii, U S.A, Sossamon has gone on to appear in many films such as “The Rules of Attraction” (2002), “40 Days and 40 Nights” (2002), and “The Order” (2003).

In 2005, Sossamon starred in the horror film “The Ring Two”, and the following year, she appeared in the drama “Wristcutters: A Love Story”.

Other films in which she has starred include the supernatural thriller “One Missed Call” (2008), the HBO series “How to Make It in America” (2010-2011), the drama series “Sleepy Hollow” (2013-2014), High Holiday (2021), The Undertaker’s Wife (2021), Grimcutty (2022), and There Are No Saints (2022).

As a musician, Sossamon serves as vocalist and co-songwriter for the indie rock band Warpaint, which she joined in 2004, and is made up of Emily Kokal, Jenny Lee Lindberg, and Theresa Wayman.

The band has released several albums including “The Fool” (2010), “Warpaint” (2014), and “Heads Up” (2016).
