Dougie Lee Poynter was born on November 30, 1987, in Corringham, United Kingdom. In 2003, after auditioning, Dougie Poynter subsequently became the bass player for the English band McFly. In November 2013, McFly joined the band Busted to form the super-group, McBusted.
