Liukin’s new show is tagged “Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test”. It is a reality TV show where celebrities fight for their survival amidst daunting tasks and draining exercises.

Who Is Nastia Liukin?

Nastia Liukin is a retired gymnast from the United States who became famous for her impressive performances in artistic gymnastics, winning the all-around gold medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

Born on October 30, 1989, in Moscow, Russia, Liukin is a four-time all-around U.S. national champion, holds the record of the most medals in a single non-boycotted Olympic Game.

She won many gold medals at the Olympics and nine World Championship medals.

Liukin retired from professional gymnastics in 2012, and has since pursued other ventures like coaching, modeling, and sports commentary.

She has “launched her own line of gymnastics equipment, including mats, bars and balance beams in her signature pink, produced by American Athletic, Inc.”

She also wrote her autobiography, Finding My Shine.

In 2023, she appeared on the FOX reality show Special Forces alongside other celebrities.

Liukin now works as an analyst for NBC Sports Group, covering gymnastics events. In 2014, she served as special correspondent for NBC during the Winter Olympic Games.
