Bhad Bhabie’s 2016 interview with Dr. Phil skyrocketed her career, but he does not necessarily pride himself on her overnight success.

Danielle appeared on “Dr. Phil” Troubled Teen: Who Will Take Danielle? (TV Episode 2014).
When asked about Bhad Bhabie (Danielle Bregoli) during a 2019 interview with Joe Rogan, he said her episode was his “moment of infamy.”
We work with her and we send her to this ranch for, like, four months, right?” Dr. Phil said. “She goes for a long time and makes a complete turnaround, does a really great job.
“They say she’s become a leader, she’s working with all these girls, doing a great job. And then she graduates.” Apparently, after Bregoli returned home, she reverted to her old ways.”
At the time of the interview, the popular TV psychologist seemingly hadn’t heard any of Bregoli’s music, nor had he seen her since 2017. However, he noted that he still had hope that she would turn her experience on Dr. Phil into a positive.

“I take no credit or blame, you know, I just did what I could and haven’t seen her since.”
In 2017, Bregoli told Maxim that she would never go back to Dr. Phil again. “Hell no. Ain’t nobody have time for that bald-headed b***h. I just saw him on Jimmy Fallon talking all sorts of mess about my mom.” Yikes.
It seemed like Bregoli and Dr. Phil will never see eye to eye, but it’s hard to deny the mutual benefit they both received from crossing paths on Dr. Phil.
After having a life-changing moment of infamy on Dr. Phil, Bregoli was sent to a Turn-About Ranch in Utah in efforts to change her behavior.
However, Bregoli’s account of her time at the ranch was proof positive that the bootcamp the TV shrink sent her to was nothing short of a troubling experience.

Speaking out as part of the “Breaking Code Silence” movement, Bregoli posted a video onto her YouTube page sharing her experience at Turn-About Ranch, where she claims she was abused and mistreated.
Upon arrival, the influencer said she was forced to stay awake for days. “You have to sit there for three days,” she said. “They wouldn’t let me lay down for nothing. Like, I was falling asleep and they’re like, ‘Oh, get up, get up.’ So I’m just sitting here like, ‘This is gonna be really bad,’ when I see these people have no sympathy.”
Dr. Phil’s response to Bhad Bhabie’s abuse allegations turned heads.
After Bregoli shared her account of what she endured at Turn-About Ranch, Dr. Phil addressed her claims.
“She went to Turn-About four or five years ago and she had a bad experience,” he said. “Obviously, I would hate that, we’d be sorry about that. We don’t have anything to do with what happens with guests once they leave they stage.
“That’s between the guardian and the parent and whatever facility they go to. We’re not involved in that, we don’t have any feedback from them. … I assume if she had a problem, she filed a complaint with the proper authorities or something five years ago.”
Refuting Dr. Phil’s claims, Bregoli responded, “So if you’re saying you don’t have any feedback, maybe you should be getting feedback about these places before you’re just sending multiple people’s f*****g kids here. You’re just trying to save your a**.
“That’s all you’re trying to do is save your a**. But there’s too many stories and there’s too many people behind this that you can’t save your a** anymore.”
She ended the video, adding, “I’m not done with you, Phillip. That was not a f*****g apology.” Clearly, this unlikely beef has a long way to go before being settled.
