Debbie Stabenow is currently the senator of Michigan state. However, she has announced that she will not be running for re-elections in 2024.

”Today, I announced I will not be running for re-election in 2024. While I still have a lot I want to accomplish in the next two years, I am ready to pass the torch to the new generation in 2025,” she posted in a tweet.
Earlier before that post, she also tweeted;
“Inspired by a new generation of leaders, I have decided to pass the torch in the U.S Senate. I am announcing today that I will not seek re-election and will leave the U.S senate at the end of my term on January 3, 2025.”
