“I am still going through the process I said I was going through. Sometimes it takes some time to really evaluate how you feel, what you want to do and I think when the time is right I’ll be ready to make a decision one way or the other”, Brady had said.

Brady, who rarely plays in the Pro Bowl, pulled out of Sunday’s game at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, as a result of a shoulder injury.

“There is a physical, mental, and emotional challenge EVERY single day that has allowed me to maximise my highest potential. And I have tried my very best these past 22 years. There are no shortcuts to success on the field or in life”, the quarterback confirmed on Twitter.

The 44-year-old explained that his decision would be primarily based on what was best for his family, having previously outlined his desire to spend more time with his wife and children.

Tom Brady made history by becoming the first quarterback to reach 600 complete touchdown passes.
