Murray is an American basketball player who plays in the National Basketball Association (NBA).

Murray was drafted by the San Antonio Spurs as 29th overall pick, in the 2016 NBA draft, ditching his final three years of college eligibility.

Dejounte Murray Career

Murray played college basketball at Rainier Beach High School in Seattle, Washington.

His school has produced NBA stars such as Jamal Crawford, Doug Christie, Terrence Williams, Nate Robinson and Kevin Porter Jr. Murray.

Murray proceeded to the University of Washington, where he played college basketball for the Washington Huskies, for one season.

In his first year, he averaged 16.1 points, 5.9 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 1.8 steals in 33.5 minutes, all in 34 games.

In 2022, Murray became an NBA All-Star and is yhe franchise leader in career triple-doubles.

Murray is a winner of the Washington Mr. Basketball by the Washington Interscholastic Basketball Coaches Association as well as The Seattle Times State Player of the Year.
