Originally from Windsor in New South Wales, Sean Abbott (born February 29, 1992) is an Australian professional cricketer who has played for his nation at the highest level in white ball cricket. He began his cricket career as a young player for Baulkham Hills Cricket Club before moving on to Parramatta District in grade play. At Castle Hill’s Gilroy College, Abbott finished his education. Right-handed batter, he plays all three positions.

Against Pakistan in the United Arab Emirates on October 5, 2014, he made his Twenty20 international debut for Australia. He played against Pakistan in the UAE two days later to start his One Day International career. Later, towards the beginning of November 2014, he participated in two additional Twenty20 matches for Australia against South Africa.
