Peter Nygard, a Canadian fashion executive is facing multiple legal issues and allegations.

On November 24, 2019, Bahamian police launched an investigation into six rape allegations levelled against Nygrd. All of the alleged victims were under the age of 16.
He was charged with long-term sex trafficking, rape, and racketeering after the FBI raided his company’s offices in New York City in 2020.
Later that year, he was formally charged with sex trafficking and racketeering, as well as claims of sex trafficking involving minors, and detained.
In October 2021, Peter Nygard was charged by Toronto police with many counts of sexual assault and forcible confinement in instances that occurred between the mid-1980s and the mid-2000s.

Peter Nygard has been accused of sexual misconduct since 1968. His criminal trials are still underway as of September 2022.

Where is Peter Nygard today?
As of this writing, Peter Nygard is detained at the Toronto South Detention Centre, where he remains in custody awaiting trial.
Jury selection for his case is set to begin on Thursday September 28 2023.
