In the post, Brewster wrote, “I’m so very sad to hear about @MatthewPerry. He was lovely to me on Friends and every time I saw him in the decades after.”

“Please read his book,” Brewster continued. “It was his legacy to help. He won’t rest in peace though. He’s already too busy making everyone laugh up there.”

Matthew Perry was found unresponsive in the jacuzzi at his home in the Pacific Palisades neighborhood of Los Angeles on October 28, 2023, and was pronounced dead at 4:17 pm that day, at the age of 54.

Known for his iconic portrayal of Chandler Bing on the long-running sitcom “Friends,” Perry won international recognition and critical acclaim for some of the many acting credits he gained throughout his prolific Hollywood career.

On December 15, 2023, Perry’s death was revealed to have occurred due to “acute effects of ketamine”. Other circumstances that led to his death included the effects of buprenorphine, drowning, and coronary artery disease.
