What did Meghan Markle do to her sister? Why did Samantha Markle sue Meghan?

The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle’s half-sister name Samantha Markle has sued her for defaming her (Samanthan) and their family after Meghan shared in an interview with media mogul, Oprah that she (Meghan) grew up as only child, whereas, that was not the case, according to Samantha.

“I grew up as an only child, which everyone who grew up around me knows, and I wished I had siblings,” Meghan shared in the interview.

The interview which she had along with her husband, Prince Harry, was watched by over 50 million people worldwide.

Why did Samantha Markle sue Meghan?

Samantha Markle, sued Meghan shortly after the interview on grounds on defamation. According to her, Meghan’s statement that she grew up as an only child and only met her (Samantha) a few times was false, malicious, and humiliating. She then sued Meghan a sum of $75,000.

A Florida judge rubbished the lawsuit and stated that Meghan’s experience was simply her experienced and had nothing to do with defamation.
