Jose made his MLB debut in 2013, and helped the Indians/Guardians, qualify for their first World Series appearance in 19 years.

Jose was selected to the MLB All-Star Game, and in 2017, he became “the 19th player in history to hit at least 56 doubles in one season.”

In 2022, Jose signed a 5-year contract extension worth $124 million with the Cleveland Guardians, which is set to expire in 2028. It was “the largest contract awarded in franchise history.”

Jose is known for his strong hitting, defensive prowess, and versatility, and won the Silver Slugger Award four times.
