Australian tv presenter, David Koch who is notable for hosting Australia’s biggest breakfast show Sunrise on Seven Network has announced that he will be leaving the program in June 2023.

He announced his departure from the program on May 28, 2023, after spending 21 years with the Seven Network’s program.
Koch is Australia’s longest-serving breakfast television show host, having broadcast over 16,000 hours of live TV across 5,3000 shows and also conducted 50,000 interviews. His last broadcast on the program is set to take place on June 9, 2023.

In a recent interview just after the announcement was made, he shared that his replacement hasn’t been found yet and that all speculations are false.
“Well, it’s obvious they’re not going to take Karl. And it’s not going to be Dr Chris Brown. You can’t put a vet on that. How insulting. That’s like saying Mr. Whippy’s gonna come and take over my job, like come on man, that’s ridiculous,” he said.
