Brian was born in Maletta, Ohio, on October 9, 1959.
He bagged his undergraduate degree from Brown University and earned his Juris Doctor at the University of Notre Dame. He later headed back to Providence, Rhode Island to join Edwards & Angell LLP, the biggest corporate law firm at the time.

Brian Moynihan Career Trajectory
Brian has handled various banking positions across all levels before January 2009 when he emerged as president of consumer and small business banking (SBB) at Bank of America.
For 5 consecutive years, Brian was executive vice president, of Fleet’s brokerage and wealth management arm.
After the merger in 2004, he became the president of global wealth and investment management of BofA, and CEO of Merrill Lynch.
Brian emerged as the CEO of Bank of America following the resignation of Ken Lewis in 2010.
The Chief Executive Magazine crowned him CEO Of The Year in 2020.
Brian currently resides in Wellesley, Massachusetts.
