Bill Murray, the actor and comedian, addressed the production shutdown of his current film, “Being Mortal,” following allegations of a complaint against him.

According to reports, Fox Searchlight informed the film’s team via email in April 2022 that the production was being halted due to an unnamed complaint, but did not confirm Murray’s involvement.

Murray stated that he had a “We disagreed; I disagreed with a woman with whom I work. I did something I felt was amusing, but it wasn’t received that way “Murray stated. “The movie studio, the organisation, wanted to do the right thing. They wanted to check everything out and investigate it, so they stopped production. But for the time being, we’re talking and attempting to make amends.”
The nature of the complaint has not been made public, but Murray stated in an interview with CNBC that he has been thinking a lot about what happened and that it has been “quite an education” for him. There has been no update on when the suspension on the production will be lifted.
