Jameela Alia Jamil is a British activist, presenter, and actor. She started her career on Channel 4, where she hosted a T4 strand pop culture series from 2009 to 2012.

She later became the radio presenter of The Official Chart and co-hosted The Official Chart Update on BBC Radio 1 with Scott Mills. She was the BBC Radio 1 chart show’s first single female presenter.
Jamil moved to the United States in 2016. In the NBC fantasy comedic series The Good Place, she portrayed Tahani Al-Jamil.
She is also a judge on the voguing reality competition program Legendary and hosts the TBS late-night game show The Misery Index.
