British comedian and media personality Joe Lycett played represented the Tamworth charity, Tamworth Wellbeing and Cancer Support Centre (TWCSC) as he starred on ITV’s Tipping Point.

Tamworth wellbeing and cancer support centre is a registered charity which helps to support people affected by all cancers and other chronic illnesses.
Its premises located at Craven, Stonydelph, were opened in June 2014 to provide a welcoming, friendly place for anyone needing support or information about living with, or after a diagnosis of cancer or any other chronic illness.

As a result of their charitable works, the TWCSC emerged the ‘Community Group of the Year’ at the Tamworth Business & Community Awards in November 2016 and October 2017.
Its Centre Manager Paula Da-Silva was also named as highly commended runner up in the category of ‘Citizen of the Year’ in 2016 and was a finalist in 2017.
In February 2017, TWCSC was presented with the ‘Community Group of the Year’ award at the Spirit of Tamworth Awards.
