Alopecia. In 2005 Porter developed alopecia totalis, losing her hair. She decided not to wear a hat or wig in order to raise awareness of the condition.
Gail Porter will spend Tuesday in the hospital after fracturing her skull but joked it was a positive sign as she’s ‘still here’ after waiting almost six months to get an appointment.

The Scottish presenter suffered the injury in November and has since been sat on an NHS waiting list as she prepares for a much-needed MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) scan of the affected area.

Taking to her social media feeds on Friday, Gail, 51, revealed a doctor had taken matters into his own hands and arranged the scan – with her hospital appointment scheduled for April 12.
