Katie Noonan is currently in the Elixir band. It is an Australian jazz trio formed in Brisbane in 1997 by Katie Noonan and Nick Stewart from ARIA award-winning, double platinum-selling band George and River Petein.

To date, they have released two studio albums and have won ARIA Awards.

Isaac Hurren joined the group before the release of their debut album. Since then, Petein and Steward have left while Stephen Magnuson joined the group on jazz guitar in 2005.

The group released their debut self-titled album in 2003. Elixir’s second album, First Seed Ripening, was released on August 5, 2011. It won the 2011 ARIA Award for Best Jazz Award.

In May 2021, Noonan launched the Australian Vocal Ensemble (AVE), a cappella quartet. The other members are tenor Andrew Goodwin, mezzo-Soprano Fiona Campbell and bass Baritone, Andrew O’Connor.
