American softball player Monica Cecilia Abbott competes professionally. She represented Team USA in the Olympics after the national softball team took home the silver medal.
On July 28, 1985, Monica was born in Santa Cruz, California. Up until 2003, she attended North Salinas High School.

She was a member of the Vikings squad that won three Division I CIF Central Coast Section championships while she was there. Monica was the winner of the Sports Focus Athlete of the Year and the Cal-Hi Softball Athlete of the Year, which were both accolades that showcased her talent.
