Ellie Downie is a British gymnast who began her gymnastics journey at just three years old. This early start allowed her to develop her skills and technique at a young age.

Ellie Downie’s first major success came in 2012 when she won six gold medals at the School Games. Ellie won bronze at the European Championships in France a year later, when she was 15.

With the win, she became the first British woman to win an individual all-around medal at the European Artistic Gymnastics Championships.

Later that year, at the 2015 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships, she was part of the team that won Britain’s first global team medal, a bronze.

She made history again in 2017 when she became the first British gymnast to win the all-around at a major international competition.

Ellie’s dedication and hard work paid off and she has since become one of the most successful gymnasts in Great Britain.

Her early start in gymnastics at the age of three has undoubtedly played a significant role in her success, as it allowed her to develop her skills and technique at a young age, and set her on the path to becoming a successful gymnast.
