Webb Simpson is an American professional golfer on the PGA Tour who won the 2012 U.S. Open and the 2018 Players Championship.

In June 2011, Webb Simpson played in his first major championship at the U.S. Open where he recorded a tied 14th finish. Webb Simpson won the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open in Las Vegas in October 2013, making it Simpson’s first victory since his U.S. Open win and the fourth PGA Tour win of his career.

Webb Simpson won the 2018 Players Championship at 18 under par. In June 2020, Webb Simpson won the RBC Heritage at Harbour Town Golf Links in Hilton Head, South Carolina.

Webb Simpson had his collegiate golf career at Wake Forest University on an Arnold Palmer Scholarship. Webb Simpson was a three-time All-American and the ACC Player of the Year in 2008.
