Doug Ericksen was an American politician who was a member of the Republican Party. Doug Ericksen held a Bachelor’s degree in Government from Cornell University and also held a Master’s degree in Political Science and Environmental Policy from Western Washington University.

Doug Ericksen served as a Member of the Washington House of Representatives from the 42nd district from 1999 to 2011. Doug Ericksen served as a member of the Washington State Senate from the 42nd district from 2011 to 2021.

Doug Ericksen was a great lobbyist who registered as a foreign agent to consult and lobby for Hun Sen, Prime Minister of Cambodia.

Doug Ericksen died on December 17, 2021, at the age of 52 years after battling COVID-19. Although the official cause of the death of Doug Ericksen is not revealed, it is reported that he died on complications of COVID-19.

Doug Ericksen was survived by his wife, Tasha Ericksen, and their two children.
