He however got his breakthrough when he started as the villainous Sandman in the blockbuster film Spider-Man 3.
Haden additionally directed the film Rolling Kansas.
Haden has so far appeared in a variety of films such as George of the Jungle, Easy A, We Bought a Zoo, Killer Joe, Spider-Man: No Way Home, Over the Hedge, Smart People, Easy A, We Bought a Zoo, Max, Hellboy, Acid man, Nature, and Twisted Metal.
