Nicholas Scott Lachey is a musician, actor, television personality, and host from the United States. He rose to prominence as the lead singer of the multi-platinum-selling boyband 98 Degrees and then starred alongside his then-wife, Jessica Simpson, in the reality series Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica.

He was also a regular on the television show Charmed. He co-hosted VH1’s Big Morning Buzz Live from 2014 to 2015 and now hosts Nickelodeon’s America’s Most Musical Family as well as co-hosting the Netflix programmes Love Is Blind and The Ultimatum with his wife Vanessa Lachey.

Lachey began his professional singing career at Kings Island in the mid-1990s, singing in a group quartet across the park with friend Justin Jeffrey.

Lachey is a part-owner of the Hollywood Fame, an American Basketball Association team that began play in the fall of 2006, and was a member of the Tacoma Rainiers’ Triple-A affiliate, the Seattle Mariners.
