On July 29, 2019, Cora Walker resigned from the Missouri House of Representatives and became the policy director for St. Louis County executive Sam Page.
Cora Walker earned a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Public Health degree from the Washington University in St. Louis and a Juris Doctor from the Saint Louis University School of Law.
Cora Walker lived in Ferguson, Missouri.
Cora Walker died on March 11, 2022, at the age of 37.

However, the I-Team is learning more about the final hours of Cora Faith Walker, whose sudden and unexpected death prompted an outpouring of support from local, state and national politicians.

Fire and EMS crews were called to the Live! By Lowe’s hotel in the 700 block of Clark Avenue in St. Louis at 8:58 a.m. Friday.
Capt. Leon Whitener, a St. Louis Fire Department spokesman, told the I-Team a public records request must be filed to get any information about the call to the hotel including the time, date and place of it.
But the I-Team has confirmed that someone at the hotel called 911 to report Cora Walker may have suffered a cardiac arrest.
