The Ukraine President, Volodymyr Zelensky has starred as an ordinary man who becomes a Ukraine president in the comedy series that launched his political career.

Britain’s Channel 4 has picked up rights to Sevants of the People, the comedy series starring Zelensky. The sitcom sees Zelenskyy playing an ordinary man who accidentally becomes president of Ukraine.

The first broadcast in 2016, was a huge hit in Ukraine so much that it helped him launch a real-life political career. His ground roots political party also called Servant id the People, helped him to a resounding victory in 2019 when he elected Ukraine President with a huge majority.
One of the scenes from the show has already gone viral because it is kinda spot on with real-world events. It shows Zelensky getting a call from German Chancellor Angela Merkel, who informs him he’s been accepted into the EU.
