Virginia Thomas, Justice Clarence Thomas’s wife, is said to have sent former aide Mark Meadows 29 text messages pushing him not to concede.
Joe Biden’s victory, according to Ms Thomas, was “the greatest heist of our history.” Mr Meadows provided the texts as part of a total of 2,320 messages to a committee looking into the US Capitol violence.

She encouraged Mr Meadows, Donald Trump’s chief of staff, to “create a strategy” to rescue his presidency, according to text texts obtained by CBS News and The Washington Post.
“Do not give in. It takes time for the troops to form up behind his back “On November 6th, she wrote. Mr Meadows may or may not have responded.
Ms Thomas also seemed to promote QAnon conspiracy ideas, urging Mr Meadows to choose Sidney Powell, a lawyer and conspiracy theorist, to lead Mr Trump’s legal team.
The Trump campaign then distanced itself from Powell after she made dramatic charges of voter fraud at many media events without offering any evidence.
